Arc System Works will host the finals of the “ARC WORLD TOUR 2022” to be held on March 11, 2023 (PST). The finalists who will participate in the finals are introduced in the form of interviews.

アークシステムワークスは、2023年3月12日（日本時間）に「ARC WORLD TOUR 2022」の決勝大会を開催します。決勝大会に参加するファイナリストをインタビュー形式でご紹介いたします。

今回はGUILTY GEAR -STRIVE-部門のOplon/Skyll選手を紹介！

Q1.Briefly introduce yourself.
Hello ! I’m Jérémy Bernard AKA Skyll, French Fighting Game player for more than 10 years now. I’ve been playing all kind of video games in the past, and I grew a taste for competition in those. No matter the type of multiplayer games I play, I will try my best in it !

Q2.Tell us about your background with fighting games.
I started to play competitively in Fighting Games with Soulcalibur IV, with some online tournaments. I was very young at the time and unable to travel too much for offline events. Since then, I’ve been a high level competitor in multiple games, accumulating a lot of experience in each of them. I eventually managed to fulfill an old dream by winning the Soulcalibur World Invitational in 2019. Now I’m on the Guilty Gear Strive grind and I won’t stop there !

Q3.Looking back, what are your thoughts on the ARC WORLD TOUR 2022 qualifier tournaments?
The level in each of these tournaments has been so insanely high. I still can’t believe I managed to qualify for such a stacked final event. Especially since the match ups I had to play in the Versus Fighting Qualifier event were not my favorites at all ! It felt like the stars aligned that day and helped me to win that event ahah

Q4.Which player in the finals are you keeping an eye on the most, and why?
Mocchi for sure. He plays Sol and he has been a big source of inspiration for me. Yes I’m a Mocchi fan !

Q5.Which character in the finals are you keeping an eye on the most, and why?
I’m scared of Happy Chaos. He is very tough to beat and very boring to fight against in my opinion. Needing you to react very fast even at long range to not let him get away with longer reloads and focuses.

Q6.What would you consider your specialty and appeal as a player?
Neutral game has always been one of my biggest strength in fighting games, and Guilty Gear Strive is no exception.

Q7.Please share your motivation for the finals tournament and a word for the fans.
I really can’t wait to play with these insanely strong players ! I hope I can do well in the event and that people who watch the matches will enjoy the show ! And a big thank-you to all the people that keep on supporting me during all these years !

Can we teach Sol Badguy to run a bit faster please ? He is not that old, come on guys !!!

Q1.簡単に自己紹介をお願いします。
はじめまして！フランスで10年以上格ゲーを遊んでいるJérémy Bernard・Skyllです。昔からいろんなジャンルのゲームを遊んできて勝負勘を育ててきました。どんな対戦ゲームでも全力を尽くします！

Q2.格闘ゲームのプレイ歴を教えてください。
初めて本格的に遊んだタイトルはSoulcalibur IVで、何回かオンライン大会に参加しました。その時はまだ若くてオフライン大会まではなかなか行けない状態でした。あれから複数のタイトルで高いレベルで活躍し、かなり経験を重ねてきました。昔から夢だったSoulcalibur World Invitationalでの優勝も2019年で叶えました。今は日々GGST頑張っていますし、ここで終わらせはしない！

Q3.ARC WORLD TOUR 2022の予選大会を振り返って感想を聞かせて下さい。
大会は全て本当にレベルの高い試合ばかりでした。強豪プレイヤーがこんなに大勢いる中で決勝大会までこれたのはいまだに信じられません。特にVERSUS FIGHTINGの予選大会で当たったキャラは苦手な組み合わせが多かったから信じがたいです！大会で優勝できたのはなにか恵まれたおかげな気がします（笑）

Q4.FINALSで一番注目している選手と、その理由を教えて下さい。
間違いなくもっちー選手。ソル使いで私にとっては憧れです。もっちー選手のファンです！

Q5.FINALSで一番注目しているキャラクターと、その理由を教えて下さい。
ハッピーケイオスが怖いです。なかなか勝てないし対戦するのもつまらないと個人的に思います。遠距離からでもちゃんと反応しないとリロードとフォーカスを許してしまうことになります。

Q6.ご自身のプレイヤーとしての強みや魅力をお聞かせ下さい
格闘ゲームで自分のプレイヤーとしての強みは立ち回りだと思います。GGSTでも例外ではありません。

Q7.決勝大会に向けての意気込みとファンへのコメントをお聞かせ下さい
強豪プレイヤーの皆様と対戦できることを楽しみにしています！大会で活躍し、見てくださる皆様も楽しめるイベントにしたいです！そして、長年自分を支えてくださっている皆様に感謝です！

ソルバッドガイがもう少し早く走れるように訓練してもらえないかな？まだまだそんな歳じゃないだろう！！
