In battle, Pieces elliminated by chains will become "Shadow Pieces" and will be sent to your opponent.
The number of Shadow Pieces will increase in proportion to the points scored from the chain.
Seen here, Shadow Pieces will have a different shape than normal Pieces.
Shadow Pieces made from your field will be sent to your opponent when your chain is completed.
They will be stored at the top of your field until your chain finishes.
In a 1 vs 1 game, Shadow Pieces will be sent between each player.
In a 4 player survival game, the Shadow Pieces you produce will be sent to your opponent on your right.
The right most player's Shadow Pieces will be sent to the left most player's field.
In a 4 player survival game, when a player loses, that player will be skipped and the Shadow Pieces will be sent to the next person.
In a 2 vs 2 game, the total Shadow Pieces made by one team will be sent to the opposing team. If one of the players on the opposing team cannot make a chain in time, then they will receive the remainder of Shadow Pieces.
If an opponent has generated Shadow Pieces, they will fall into your field when one of the following happens:
- When a player makes a Piece fall intentionally.
- Failure to Beat Drop correctly.
- When you fail to Counter the opponent's Shadow Pieces.
If any of these conditions are met, Shadow Pieces will fall into your field.
The maximum amount of Shadow Pieces which will appear at any one time will be no more than 3 full rows (21 Pieces).
If there are more Shadow Pieces, they will appear the next time you reach one of the conditions.
