Humans have succeeded in the theorization of controlling supernatural, infinite energy. However, in proportion to the advancement of culture, there were no signs of wars amongst humans subsiding. The worldwide conflicts could not be stopped, and killing through magical methods became extreme. It was through this that humans created forbidden organic, living weapons using people and animals. This was the birth of strange living weapons with a strong lifeforce and attack strength - the “GEAR”. While one nation attempted to take sole possession of these GEAR and suppress other nations, a GEAR with great strength and self-awareness emerged. She named herself “Justice”. With the other GEAR under her command, she declared war on the humans. In response to this, the humans quickly united to form a unit to rise up against the GEAR - the “Sacred Order of the Holy Knights”. Thus begun the “Crusade”.

The great war raged on for 100 years, and at the end of this battle, Justice was sealed away in a “Dimensional Prison”, returning peace to the world. Five years following this war, fears of Justice returning through the deterioration of the barrier seals have gripped the world. Realizing the seriousness of the situation, the humans have decided to hold a tournament in order to select the next generation of the Sacred Order of the Holy Knights. While the wishes of the victor would be granted, the tournament would be brutal with entry granted to criminals and in-battle killing permitted.

STORY

Sol is a lone bounty hunter when the soon-to-retire Head Commander of the Sacred Order of Holy Knights, Kliff, recognizes his strength and extends an invitation to join their forces. However, life as a knight—and Ky in particular—did not suit Sol, so he left the organization after stealing the Order's prized sword, the Fireseal.
Sol returned to his original life five years after the end of the Crusades. Then one day, when chasing down a bounty, his soon-to-be-victim informs him of a tournament held for the formation of a second Sacred Order. Sol nonetheless puts the groveler out of his misery, but his gaze silently shifts to the far-off distance...

STORY

At just 16 years of age, Ky was appointed as the leader of Sacred Order of Holy Knights and is bestowed the treasured sword Thunderseal.
He and other heroes fight to seal away Justice, bringing the Crusades to a close.
Once the Sacred Order of Holy Knights is dissolved, Ky joins the police force to uphold peace. During this time, however, he is faced with an opportunity to join a second Sacred Order of Holy Knights.
Suspicious of the tournament's allowance of lethal force, its enormous prize, and of the all-too-soon weakening of the seal placed on Justice, he sets off for the tournament, clad in his old knight uniform for the first time in five years.

STORY

STORY

A reputed soldier and commander of the first Sacred Order of Holy Knight as well as a hero whose name goes down in history. He is a formidable warrior during the Crusades, and his sword the Dragonslayer—named so as it is rumored capable of felling a dragon with a single stroke—is bestowed upon him by the Order.
Once the Crusades ended, he went into retirement. After five tedious years, the former hero comes across a poster while walking through the streets one fateful day, announcing a tournament to be held to determine the members of a second Sacred Order of Holy Knight. Sensing a disturbance in the air, Kliff foresees Justice's imminent resurrection and resolves to enter the tournament.

STORY

STORY

Axl is a human from the 20th century. Born in the slums, he intends to rid his town of gang control. STORY

STORY

Hooked on drugs from his youth, Chip joined the Mafia as a dealer. However, he became unable to work as his own substance abuse grew out of hand.

STORY

STORY
